I bought a used aged ebay and paypal account off CL.

Now the paypal is limited because of something the owner did with his other paypal account.

The accounts were linked. I didn't even know he had another account.

Please advise what do I do?

I agree. If it TRULY was the seller's fault, you should get your money back.

By CL, I assume you mean "Craig's List"?

If so, I would suggest buying instead from seller's here - each seller on this forum has to meet certain requirements and is vetted by Aspkin. In other words, it would be VERY difficult for a scammer to set up shop here. ANYONE can post an ad on Craig's List.

also any issues and they will have a record and wont be allowed to scam others if reported from here

I don't think classifieds are reliable, and there is no seller's rating.
You should buy from trustworthy sellers.

You bought an account of craigslist?

Why not buy from someone who has built a reputation and from a website like this?

We have many sellers here who have been selling accounts for a long time.

Stay away from CL and other sites to buy accounts.

Everything you need is right here.

Wow, the seller must have known that it would become limited so decided to ditch it for a last hurrah...

jus speaking to a guy on cl and they wont give any info on there account at all just after the money

paypal wont cover you at all for this kind of transaction
