Can i verify my paypal account immediately
 

Hello everyone. I created a new paypal account last week. But i need to verify my new paypal account. So i brought gift2go visa card from my friend to verify my acount. I am planning to enter the card details now to verify. After entering those details, i know that the 4 digit Xpuse number will come in the statement immediatley after i use the card on paypal. Shall i enter the 4 digit number immediately or should i wait a couple of days before i enter it. If i enter it immediately, will there be any problem. Please guide me.

Personally I enter the 4 digit number into paypal within a few minutes of getting it.

That is what I do and have not had a problem in a long time.

How are you going to verify with only a credit card? I thought you needa bank acc to verify?

You do need a Bank Account.
The OP asked about the credit card process.
They did not ask anything about the bank account process.

Steady there. The second OP's question was asking if more than a credit card was needed. I know that we are getting many repeated questions, and the information is in the forum.
But your answer might have been a bit more helpful. People might have managed to understand the ENTIRE process of verification.

In order to verify a Paypal account you need to following items:
1 Credit Card that contains the information of ⊗⊗⊗⊗ person "ABC"
1 Valid Bank Account in the REAL name of the REAL person.

Do the Credit Card validation through Paypal to get the 4 digit number off of the Credit Card Statement.
Make Paypal do the Bank Account DEPOSIT into your Bank Account to get the amount of the 2 small deposits.

It is a 2 step process.

NEVER GIVE PAYPAL YOUR ONLINE BANKING LOG IN INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!

If you are using a Paypal account from India don't you think you might have mentioned that in your original post?
Lack of information on your part makes it really hard to give good advice.

I'm not mudslinging anyone. I was simply asking him and his repliers a question. As he did not mention anything about a bank acc it seemed like he was activating with only a credit card.

Ive never had to register a cc with paypal in order to verify my accounts and I used to be a seller with an activated account so even your answer is confusing but whatever...I'll keep my mouth shut and just PM those helpful people kind enough for a positive answer.

Just because you do not understand what I am saying does not make my posts negative.
So you can keep on using your credit cards that do not have valid account information attached to them.... That is fine.
So by all means keep doing things the way you have been doing them.

Hey Indian, I am also from that country. You need a Credit Card Statement. If you are using SBI Credit Card than it takes 2-3 days to reflect on your account. These 4 digits are really sucks.

I never said i dont understand anything. I said your answer is confusing because it doesn't make sense. Its not true you need a credit card to verify paypal. You only need a valid bank account. This is why i said I have a verified with no credit card. 3 verified accounts acually with no credit card. That's why said i'm confused i did not say i don't understand.

Yes I'm in the US. I don't need help. I was just simply commenting on your comment as to help the original poster so that he knows he doesn't need a credit card on file to verify (as you told him), only a bank account.

you're not missing anything. for the US You need bank acc to verify. whether you put CC on paypal is optional. I've had accounts where i had CCs on them only, still wasn't verified. Wasnt verified UNTIL i registered my bank acc and proved it after paypals confirmation deposits into your acc. i mean even when you choose to be verified it'll ask either u open a paypal CC or register a bank acc. As most people don't want to get a paypal CC since they'd be forced to confirm their information, they go for the bank account. This is why i've been saying, personal CCs wont get you anywhere in verification, only bank acc.

What good is a Paypal account with a $500 per month withdraw limit?
Personally I make 3 times that a month on 1 of my 10+ accounts.

Glad we agree and have the same explanation. as for in the beginning the only reason why i "criticized" your answer was because you simply said to be verified you must do these 2 things, you didnt say to be verified AND have your limit lifted. Now that you have set the difference between the two i can say we agree on the same explanation. As for that other thread i see where you and Quasi are trying to explain to people the easiness of registering 10 accounts with 10 diff bank accs, I wish you luck lol i dont understand why its so difficult for others to understand.
