I used Polish Paypal with US Ebay account. (5-6 months ago)

Not a good idea...and that's not what the OP asked, he/she is trying to add a European Bank to a US Paypal.

MM78, yes, exactly.
Greenie, i'm not sure, no ability to check. But it worked good, for example, if you list some items for sale from your US Ebay with US Paypal, your funds will be available much later, then if you will use US Ebay with European Paypal. A lot of scammers do it to sell "nothing" to buyers.
