When can I start receiving bigger payments?
 

Hi guys!

I just have one simple question: When can accounts start to receive $300+ payments?

My knowledge regarding PayPal + eBay is pretty extensive but this is one thing that has been bowling me over for a long time. PayPal usually instantly limits new accounts that make $300+ sales on eBay.

My eBay accounts are perfect. Only problem I'm having is PayPal itself. I'm building up a few accounts so they are able to receive bigger amounts but I'm just wondering when is the best time? When you've made 25 sales? Its been 90 days since your first sale? Or even after the 5th sale?

Is your paypal verified? How old is it and what country?

Your knowledge is fuzzy.

paypal limit accounts with ebay sales for whatever amount they want.

Main aim is to have an account in good standing that paypal trust. And be dealing with buyers whose accounts are not flagged by paypal.

...I guess it is just a "pourparler" don't think is really possible to know if an account is flagged or not... right?

Oh sorry. Should've given more detail.

Yes, PayPal is completely verified. Most of the accounts are over 30 days old. I only build USA accounts.

Whatever amount they want? Thats lame. :-(

Nope, it's not lame.

It's paypal. Since I posted I recalled the lowest amount for a limitation was.........

75 cents and another for $7.00 on USA accounts.

Paypal need consistency, reliablilty and trust.

Well mine has been fine so far and I've sold items between $8 -> $19. So I should just sell till I hit 25 sales and then go bigger?

Plan like that has worked well for others.

It's very similar to how I run newish paypal ( by association ebay) accounts.

Boring as it is, I go slow.

There have been pp accounts limited even for $1 transactions.

Listen to GreenBean - spread sales over different accounts and build them.

You want to slowly build the accounts so ...8-10 for now, 10-40 slowly, 50-100, etc...each increment over few weeks is a possibility

Okay so I have a pretty old account at the moment. [About 4 months old]

It has had about 25+ transactions ranging from amounts between $5 --> $500.
About 3 of the sales were big ones. [$500]
It has been limited before but I managed to unlimit it.

Now my question is how often can I receive $500 payments to this account? Bi-weekly? Weekly?
