Paypal account with ebay account from a different country, in a different currency
 

Hi,

I'm just wondering if this is the kind of thing that raises serious red flags? Is it a good idea anyway? Essentially what I'm trying to do is avoid extra fees accrued with cross border payments and currency conversions when withdrawing. All arising from selling on another ebay site.

Any advice much appreciated

First off the addresses would not match which in itself would be an issue. You would also have an issue with logging in with the wrong countries IP addresses.

You used to be able to hold different currencies in one PayPal account. Have had no need for this myself for the last year so unsure if its still an option. Worth looking into though if you want to prevent paying the FX rate fees.
