Transfer $ from Paypal to bank
 

I have had a new user account since Sept of 2013. I was suspended from my old account for ebays rule of them saying I am below standards. But that is a different story.

I followed all the instructions of ebay stealth, and I am using my wife's name, with slight spelling variation, her work address, and her checking account, which is different from the suspended account.

I have been selling without any issues. The question I have is, I just requested to transfer some money into her legit checking account for the first time since I started the new account.

The address in her legit checking account does not match the work address I am using, and the spelling of her name is slightly different from the legit name.

Is paypay going to give me a hard time transfering the money into the checking account?

First time transfers can be flagged and have a limit placed on them.



What amount are you thinking of transferring?

Did you pick a mismatch name friendly bank.

Is that paypal verified and confirmed.

Excuse the questions but the info needed helps with better replies.

I have over $1000 in the account. I requested $500 that I need to pay a bill. I don't know if the bank is a mismatch name friendly bank. It is not one of the major banks.

It is a regional bank. Fulton bank. I believe the paypal account is verified. When I first signed up they did the small deposit to verify thing.

From what I remember it said it was verified. There is already a $500 withdrawal limit because I didn't give my wife's SS#.

To lift that limit I would have to give the SS#. I just want to make sure I receive the money requested. Thank you for your help greenbean.

Anytime you use a bank that you have not tested with mismatch name deposits, you should do small test transfers.

Actually that's not the only way, when you fully verify a paypal there are 3 options:
1. Add bank
2. Add SSN
3. Add CC
If you added the bank, take a quick guess which would be best?

I am at the limit of $500. The question is will the requested transfer of $500 go through. without SS#. How do you pick a mismatch name friendly bank. My wife's name that I used is missing a letter in the first name, and a letter was rearranged in the last name.

Ok again, you can lift the $500 limit by requesting the 4 digit that is sent to the Card you used to register the paypal.

You can use mm78's endorsed mastercard to verify your pp acct. it's the 3 pack 15 dollars each at your local Safeway. It's awesome because I get to verify 3 pp accts for 5 bucks. Well worth it. It's the 3 pack mastercard.

When I signed up for paypal, and they sent that small deposit to the bank account, and it goes through, isn't that verifying the account?

Yes. However using paypal is a two step process.

The paypal gets verified with the two deposits

Then the VCC is used to confirm the address and lift the monthly limits.

Could you sign into your paypal and check the status for us?

Under your name there will be 3 lots of words:

Account Type

Status

Account Limits

check what is there & let us know please

OK Greenbean, I think I am good. It states under account type-Personal,Status-Verified,Account Limits it states that the card is linked, bank account is linked, and confirmed. Transfer money is available, and receive money is available. It should be good to go correct?

Techincally yes.

However, you should expect the chance of paypal imposing a hold.

As a first transfer, $500 is a high amount. Others have tried this and had issues.

Proceed carefully.

You should break that amount up into two withdrawals. Also if the account is linked and confirmed and fully verified the $500 limit should be lifted without having to add ss number, as GreenBean tried to point out. But if this is a first time withdrawal I would break it up into two maybe three withdrawals.

Sounds like you added CC to confirm but didn't take the next step of letting paypal do a test charge and confirming the expuse code.
