mitsugirly | 09-20-2008 11:01 AM | Removing bank info in PP I did do a search and I think I found an answer to my original question which is: If I go in and remove my bank information on my paypal account, does PP still keep or have this information. I believe I seen the answer is: yes, they keep it forever.
Here is my dilemma... (as I've said in another post)
I was not using my PP for ebay. My husband used it to sell items on a car forum. Buyers paid using PP. We took the money out to pay for the group buy. A few buyers filed a dispute b/c it was "taking too long for the items to be made" and caused my PP to go into the negatives. PP has now awarded them their refund, but no money in PP to collect. They are asking me to put money in using my financial institution, which I won't do b/c we issued money order refunds to everyone involved in the group buy.
Now, I have went in and deleted my bank account information, which now makes me unverified. I DO NOT want them going to my bank account (which I only have this account open for cashing checks and such and only keep about $10 in it at all times) and trying to collect the money...which will cause it to bounce and go into the negatives and I'll receive NSF fees.
Can they still try to pull the money out of my bank even tho I have deleted the info? Without my consent? I'm half tempted to close that account and reopen another account with a new number. |
