PP Premier or Business Acc Requirements
 

Hi all

I have managed to set up a stealth pp acc after getting limited. :(

It has been nearly two months now and going good.

I want open a store at a platform where they mentioned:

"Store owners must have either a PayPal Business or Premier account to run their online store"

My questions:

1. I wish to open a new stealth for this purpose alone. Now, if i want to upgrade my new stealth verified pp account say a 2-3 days old to premier acc, will pp ask for documents?

2. Do i need to wait few weeks before i request to upgrade to premier acc or its just a regular update without requiring for any documentation?

3. If they ask for documents, since its stealth....what to do? thanks.

This has been asked multiple times and the thread about paypal doing away with premier accounts that is very recent is something you need to read also.

paypal is changing its format for types of accounts as I type this reply. It's a waiting game for the majority of us.

Bearing in mind that premier accounts may be discontinued, I suggest you double check with the site that you want to use for a shop. See if they have changed their requirements.

It's not usual for paypal to ask for paperwork. If and when paypal does, majority of users supply that to them.

I am sad the timing is not right for your questions about a premier account. It's an issue a lot of us have.

i did some research here and the rumor is premier is going out. So possibly only type will be personal and business.

I currently now have a personal verified stealth pp acc. Will there be something significantly different for opening a stealth business account if i want to create one?

in other words, are there any extra requirements to get a pp business acc?

I have to be blunt: we simply do not know as yet.

Info is coming in from different sources.

As yet, nothing different stands. Will that be the case tomorrow or next week? I am not sure.

Another time of change for users of paypal.

Be prepared.

i just got my stealth after getting limited....and they had to start tweaking policies again. stupid pp.
