Retrieveing money from VBA
 

Hi,

When I transferred money out of my Stealth paypal account, I accidentally selected my VBA account for transfer instead of my regular bank account. How can I retrieve this money from the virtual bank account ? I purchased the vba from a seller here. They provided an account number, but no login info.

It will probably be reversed, there is not much you can do. Keep your fingers crossed.

Why did you not remove the VBA?

You need to contact the seller and see what they can do....At this time only the seller can really anything.

If I can't get the money back, can I pay my eBay seller fees with the money in this account?

Yes, just go to one time payment enter the amount you want to pay and the first option and usually checked off is paypal balance

I would want to pay seller fees from the VBA, not from my PayPal account.

You need to contact the VBA seller! the longer you wait, the worse it can get.

I contacted the VBA seller immediately after this happened. He's pretty active here, I'm hoping he checks in and can help me out.

Not much seller can do.

Most likely it will be reversed as the VBA only is good for a period of time.

If you added and confirmed your own bank remove it so it does not happen again.

I did this a few times and figured it out myself how to fix it. Works instantly. You have to make sure it still says pending and not completed. Go to dispute a transaction and select the transaction transfer to bank and you did not authorize. Put in the notes transfer to incorrect bank account or whatever. Remember if it's pending it will reverse right away. Then you can transer to correct bank right away. Will not work if it says completed.

If this works, then it should be noted or pinned. OP, you might want to try this and see if it works.

The window of opportunity is very limited for success.

A reversal can only happening during the pending part of the transaction. If a user notices instantly they used the incorrect transfer info, it can work. Even that is not a given.

paypal may then step in and flag the account for security reasons.

Dispute is obviously done by computer. I think that's why all withdrawal are pending for 24 hours for this reason. I doubt doing this can lead to limitation but I've had my account limited when it bounced back from a dead vba. Go ahead and test on account and report back.
