Paypal Here Card Reader for payments
 

Got a question, I am going to be doing some festivals this summer and would like to get something so people can use debit cards, was thinking of getting the paypal card reader and signing up for the Paypal Here thing, question is do any of you have this?
If so how do you like it?
Also is anyone using it with an android phone and if so which one?

do you have to register ssn to use this?

I been wanting to get one on stealth. a buddy of mine has it and its super nice to get credit card payments in person or to pay yourself to add funds quickly to your paypal.

not sure if it will work w stealth tho

We use your date of birth and Social Security number to help confirm your identity and comply with government regulations.

if you have a legit account it seems pretty neat my buddy has one and loves it.

its pretty neat.

My paypal account is legit so I'm not concerned about providing the info, I'm going to do some festivals and flea markets this summer and I think being able to take debit cards would definitely boost sales.
My only concern so far is it doesn't seem to be compatible with a lot of devices so I'd probably need a new phone to use it.
I'm also looking into the Intuit go payment which seems to work with more stuff.

There are other services that you can use from your smartphone or tablet that will deposit money directly in your bank account in one business day

Why risk funds being held 180 days in a limited paypal account or having to wait 3 or 4 business days to transfer funds or have a rolling reserve
