Paypal legal actino

So my question is I have several eBay accounts they were caught so I took the money and never paid eBay there fee's amounting to about 4k over several accounts. Should I worry about this at all? anyone ever heard of legal action being taken? or is it just going to go onto someone’s credit that does not exist?

1. Did you use REAL other person's info? That's dangerous.

2. Forum cannot recommend NOT paying fees - those are dues that you accept to pay when you use the service.

So, in conclusion, choices are yours based on info you provided.

If you use their service, pay their fees. Simple as that.

Just pay the fees, it can be easily traced to you and it could even lead to more lawsuits.

Re: Paypal legal actino

If you used real information, they can send you to collections and it can be a hassle to get that cleared. I haven't heard of a case of litigation involving fees, but I've dealt around the $1K mark per account at times. In total around $2k+ or so in fees getting held up that I never bothered paying on stealth at a point..

So basically, if it's in your real info, I advise to pay. Mainly so you don't have the collections battle and you don't mess up your credit or anything. However, if you used stealth information, don't bother; they can't make you pay fees.

Oh the beauty of stealth..

How did you access the money from PayPal. A court order can run a trace back to the bank you used on the Stealth, and boom your real information.

Of course they can trace you and not paying fees is NOT the beauty of stealth.

The beauty of it is to have the chance to be back in the game if you have been suspended, punto.

Never heard of this as a even a case or for myself. They just use collection agencies which pretty much go on the information you had on file through NCI / NCO FINANCIAL or whatever. Paypal does too many shady things in the name of safety to lose another legal battle over something as small as fees..

Re: Paypal legal action

They are all %100 stealth. I do have one account that a buyer said they never received the item that I did send but I now have the money and of course i owe eBay now. Just wondering if anyone knew the $ amount before they take action and try to trace it back to a real person.

Ebay is a platform for all of us sellers to sell on.
It provided you with a service/platform to sell your items on.
Do the right thing and pay them for that service, otherwise eventually you and all those other sellers who avoid paying there ebay fees will be the reason ebay shuts down eventually..

If you do not pay your fee's they can still find you through your bank name and when that happens you will have more problems to worry about than the $2000 you are not paying.

very well said.

Bottom line is this that, if there is a cent percent chance that ebay could eventually find you real info, clear the fees out man. By evading $2000 you could be digging a grave that can cost you lot more....not only financially, mentally as well.

Alright thanks for the advice i will just pay them on my PC at work. Not trying to go to jail. Kind of crazy how much time you can get for fraud in the US and if i have to hire a lawyer it’s just making it worse.

I highly doubt you will get jail time for owing eBay fees in the amount of 2K, but your credit can get ruined and bank accounts can get garnished

You are totally misunderstanding why aspkin created the forum.

It was made to help sellers treated unfairly by eBay/ PayPal

Skipping fees is not our remit.

Please avoid asking us to enable your stealing

As much as I hate them for limiting me on day two of two month hospital stay after stroke which dropped my income 99% and took 4 years to recover from if my account goes negative and they let me settle it via bank account it gets settled but on some check only way to settle it I not sending them a check takes too much effort. There fault if let me pay way they pay me they get there money. I make good effort pay them so can sleep at night. Depends on amount if just few dollars like on most ones wanted check I not worried feel breaks even for few the accounts could not get money back from. I fill different over $2000-4000.
