PP charged me back 2x for 1 transfer...
 

On 4/7 I transferred $420 to my TD bank acct that I have been using for over 6 months. Yesterday 4/19 I see 2 chargebacks for $420 + another one for same. So a total of $840. I called the bank and they can't tell me anything until 7am tomorrow. When I checked my pp account I have a $450 available balance and see NO chargebacks ever. I call pp and the agent says there have been zero chargebacks and shows no transactions for what my bank shows. WTF???? So I have to do something I am not good at and be patient.

One thing for sure, I would change all my passwords if I were you. Sounds like you may be a victim of internet fraud/hacking/ID theft.

They may just have a hold on it, and they prob wont capture it twice. But it def looks like they got the at $.23 back!

I really wished I couuld find out what happened. When I called the bank this morning I was told that the reversal had to have been done manually and that I have to wait 24 hours more to find out. Major bummer. I really despise PP & banks.

Hmm - just tossing out ideas - but perhaps the bank did a manual review and determined that the amount that came in stealth name were not authorized...and that would explain the up-funding into PP.

Is your bank account restricted?
