How do I deposit money into paypal w/o SS#
 

Hi gang,

I need to make a large purchase. Seller only accepts paypal. I tried to deposit money from my bank acct but paypal wants ssn.

I read numerous threads with similar question but I'm not sure I've found the right answer.

How do I get around this? Greendot?

Greendot will also ask for SSN. One thing you can do is buy a Vanilla Visa and add enough funds to cover the charge but sometimes this works 50/50. Are you using a Buying Account?

Describe your paypal account. Is it verified or confirmed?

Why did you say paypal wants SSN. Have you had notice from them?

I think you can open a prepaid debit card overseas. you just have to open a PO box overseas and have the card delivered there as well as put that PO BOX down as ur address. Then just forward ur card to ur US address. Never tried this method.

Huh? What does all this have to do with uploading funds to a PayPal? PayPal requires that a PayPal have an SSN attached in order to upload funds. Also, what your suggesting is just a waste of time, energy and resources.

Yea they do sometimes, even with EIN'S attached,,,,,,particularly if they have been inactive for a while,,,,,,I've experienced this first hand
