Linking PayPal account of a suspended eBay account to a new eBay account ....
 

I know, I know ...everyone is saying it's a "no-no" to link a PayPal account that was linked to a now suspended eBay account, to a new eBay account.

I have no other use for this PayPal account anyways, so I gave it a try and linked to to another eBay account that is not suspended ...it has been 3 days and it hasn't gone down yet.

My question..for all you who have tried this, how long did it take for it to go down? Immediately? Or..?

Sometimes it will take them a little while to take the accounts down.
The last time I was suspended, it took them a few weeks to suspend all my accounts.

I'm gonna give it a try then ...can't do much more than lose the account :D The bare PayPal account is useless anyways.

How did that work out for you? I know that it is suggested that you can use the same paypal account on a new eBay account as long as it is a different paypal email because eBay and Paypal don't share info. I find this extremely hard to believe especially now that paypal is the only payment method accepted by eBay other than merchant accounts. I would love to hook up a new eBay to an already established paypal account, but my account is not stealth but someone's else's info. I like to be prepared for the account limitation and I just don't see how that is done with a stealth account. I do not want to waste all that good viable info by getting suspended for being "greedy", so to speak. But New Paypal accounts face the limitation radar. Dang't! lol

Well, I'm back to tell you all that I tried this. I linked a new eBay acct to a paypal acct of another account under a suspended eBay account. That was a year ago and my account is still going strong. No limitations and no verifications accept whats standard for paypal (credit card, bank account, payment holds etc). The account is under a person who passed away May this year also. I made the acct 8 months before he died.:-( My cousin shot to death but that's another story. Glory to God. Just thought I'd let you all know that his account hasn't suffered. Praise Jesus. Amen.

I wonder if anyone has ever been limited if they do either this or link a new paypal to an old ebay?

I linked a paypal account from a suspended ebay account to another ebay account, changed the e-mail address first, so far so good, it's been about 3 weeks. the other paypal account is still good but getting close to 200 items and they started asking for social security, so switched before it gets frozen.....

I can tell you this, I did this and my account lasted for 6 months HOWEVER something flagged a manual review and when it was reviewed it was linked and shut down immediately. What's the point?

Hello ,i have 2 different s paypal account both verified and with out limits.But both of them i use at the past with suspended ebay account.I need to ask if i can use it with a new ebay account if i change the email?Thank you in advance.

They say no but i had an account suspended with ebay figure i had nothing to loose so i linked the PP with different email address an it worked been ok till now.. But you never no its a chance you gotta take

Might work for awhile but not recommended to rely ONLY on this account

I was new on ebay, but my ebay account is suspended by MC999 2 days before. PLEASE HELP If I can open new ebay account & linked it with previous paypal account (which was linked to suspended ebay account)?

What is the best way, please explain step by step. My english is not good enough like you people.
