I started a new ebay account last week. I had to go to the library to start the account. They only allow one hour a day on the computers, plus I have to pay for parking. I started a new paypal acount in my fathers name, they called him to verify the account and now they want me to fax them a list of suppliers. Well, I don't have invoices. I just purchase at outlet stores. Can I send them copies of the stores receipts?

I think modee once sent them pictures of his supplies... I'm not sure if that still works though.

“First Sale Doctrine”
The first-sale doctrine is a limitation upon copyright that was recognized by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1908 and subsequently codified in the Copyright Act of 1976, 17 US Copyright Act, section 109. The doctrine of first sale allows the purchaser to transfer (i.e. sell or give away) a particular, lawfully made copy of the protected work without permission once it has been obtained. That means the distribution rights of a copyright holder end on that particular copy once the copy is lawfully transferred.

The doctrine of first sale does not include renting and leasing phonorecords (recorded music) and certain types of computer software, although private non-profit archives and libraries are allowed to lend these items provided they include a notice that the work may be copyrighted on the copy.
