new paypal for new ebay acct
 

So I posted a different thread about ebay automatically linking my pp to my ebay account. So I'm thinking about starting completely over again in case I get suspended again from ebay (hasn't happened yet.. I unlinked it, but who knows...) with a new ebay and new pp account. I have a clean record on paypal (except 2 resolved issues with shipping problems). I know I can't have 2 accounts under the same ss#. Would it raise a red flag if I shut down my old account and opened a new one with a "nickname' (ex, andy vs andrew)? I'd like to be able to link my accounts because I do a lot of shopping on ebay (live on remote island!). i know they may eventually ask for my social, which is why I 'm asking.

Also, I have a merchant account for my other business with no gateway and don't want a gateway. Can anyone recommend a good checkout redirect that isn't too expensive? TIA.

How do you use a merchant account with no gateway?

Thats not cool. I wouldn't want anyone seeing my credit card information..not that your bad. I have to watch for websites with that veri sign thing

verisign is just a secure way to send information. Verisign also works with gateways. I wouldn't boy cot it. I would bet that half of online purchases are run through manually.

It's not secure if you can see my credit card information. :( Not that you are a bad seller or will steal information but as far as other suspect sellers
