Paypal with Credit Card chargebacks
 

So I was trying to buy some items from a guy who claimed to be a wholesaler. He wanted to use paypal so I used one of my accounts that had my credit card linked since he seemed kinda shady. The total was around 3200. After I paid him he disappeared I realized I wasnt going to get my items so I did a chargeback with my credit card company. Told them the story and they gave me my money back. Let paypal deal with this crap. So now I have another guy I want to deal with and he wants to use paypal. I have another card linked to another paypal that I can use but I was wondering what if he is a fraud also. Do credit card companies have access to all your records and such. I just dont want them to say well 3 weeks ago he did a 3200 dollar chargeback and now he spent another 3200 and did a chargeback somethings not right. Keep in mind these are 2 separate paypal accounts that I have.

i wanted to know..when you filed a card chargeback did it limit your paypal account?

I would never spend 3200 on anything unless I have done business with them in the past.

I send small orders in first to test their product, shipping time, packing etc before I spend that kind of money.

Be careful as this might be the same person selling if you are buying the same type product.

I wanna know why a thread from 2008 got bumped?????
