Is there any online cellphone numbers I can use for verifying my mobile number? The number has to be able to accept the codes that payPal texts you.

If you're in the US why dont you go for prepaid phones or such?

I am from us, I was wondering which prepaid phones would be the best option? I do make a decent number of accounts per week so I can't spend that much on a prepaid phone

Tracfones or the Text+ app have worked for me on many accounts and different situations.

The text+ app doesn't receive text messages

Hmm I don't know about that I am looking at some texts on the app right now. I also use the text+ app in conjunction with GV

Unless you need to use paypal mobile than I wouldn't spend too much on this, it's not mandatory to have a cellphone to operate paypal

They just push it so that everyone will have access to paypal at all times on there cell, but if you have the APP text plus, just add it as a home or work number, and not a mobile , if you add it like this than no confirmation is necessary , only when it's labeled as a mobile phone

And I have used Textplus and other apps to call in and talk with both eBay and paypal and never a problem

Ive always liked the idea of being able to purchase with pp mobile especially when I lag on my withdraws and my cash, like always, is in pp. I just thought it wasn't possible because my cell phone #, I still use it this day and, its been registered with an old limited pp acct. The only difference, is that I have gotten a new Android phone, and kept my ph#.

Initially I wanted to add the pp to this new phone in order to pay for purchases (only if it's safe, of coarse) in a store. Actually, let's say I buy a new phone with new ph#, I would be able to supply this ph# to pp and have the pay in store ability? In my pp acct. the 'confirm mobile' is there. Thanks!
