PayPal Check Cashing
 

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience cashing paypal checks without depositing them into your bank account? The paypal checks have my real name on them so i thought i would just be able to take them to a cashier and cash them. Cashiers have to verify that the check was issued though and PayPal seem to not want to do that.

If i go to wells fargo would they cash the check?

ANy help would be appreciated.

Cashiers will only verify the account number on the check not the name it is issued to. But they will also keep a photocopy on file just in case the issuer wants proof that it was cashed.

Most banks will cash the check with ID - some banks wont deal with you unless you're a client +/- fee if you are not....also good way to build new relations with banks :) free chequing account (if you can get one).

Wells Fargo is no different

Yes Ive cashed checks at wells fargo. They will give it to you if the name matches. 2000 in cash and rest in a cashiers check.

thank you so much for your help. I will try to get to a wells Fargo location. Hey snoopdoug does Wells fargo charge you to cash the checks? I am not a wells fargo customer.

Just take it to your bank's atm machine. Sign the back and you're done. No need to see nobody face inside the bank.
