Paypal Debit Card!
 

I recently got approved for a paypal debit card and wanted to know how long did it take some of you guys to receive yours?

I know the paypal site says 1-2 weeks but its paypal were talking about so how long dose it really take?

i think it took around 3-4 days to get mine.

I got mine in a week.
It comes in a plain envelope, to the addy on file.
You can also request a 2nd card.. which gives you 2x the withdrawl power..

one problem, how do you get the card to come to you. the addy on file way not be your actual address.

there really isnt a way to get the card if you dont have the right address unless you can talk to the person living there or doing business there.

Can somebody explain how to transfer the money to the PP Debit Card? How does it work? Do you need a paypal balance then transfer it to the card? Has anybody have there account limited b/c of that?

There's no transferring involved. The PP debit card will be linked to your main currency and will directly deduct the money from your available balance. Kinda like a prepaid card.

Yes, I am trying to figure out how I can get a paypal debit card for obvious reasons I cant just apply for one. I do not think I can just have it sent to the address on my account. I dont see a problem with going to that address to get the mail, but I doubt they will give me the card b/c it wont be in my name. How did u guys get around this?

why not just have the funds go into your bank account instead of using a debit card?? if the address on your paypal account is not your address then you wont be able to get it because it wont be shipped to your address.

Because it takes 3-5 days to get it into your bank and if something happens in that three to five days they freeze the transfer and you're S.O.L. ...... I've had this happen to many times to count.

Yea, thats the method i currently use. But I have to wait like 3 days for the money to transfer to my bank account. I want to have instant access to my funds.

Exactly!! My address on my account happens to be a local Taco Bell, lol. I am thinking about just telling them that one my bills was sent to the wrong address and just going there to pick it up.

get a job at taco bell then temporarly. and volunter to get the mail :D

I can't remember but you can maybe try forwarding the mail. I am not sure if you need ID and SSN to sign up at the post office though. Usually it's better to think of this from the start and get a po box or a virtual office where you can have access to your mail.

i say the p.o box is your best bet on getting a paypal debit card

what i did was register all my addresses like this:
OLD address:
25672 redlands blvd
current one for paypal ebay, etc:
1256724 redlands blvd. 4
It works and I got my paypal card. the post office just crossed out the address and put the middle numbers in PLUS the name I used was the same except for the spelling. fo rexample,
diana (real name) dieanha (paypal name)
the post office figured it so it must work!

yea, but po boxes cost and I rather not pay for a po box.

you have to spend to get in this country. i say go to taco bell and tell them you had a bill mailed to the wrong address. give them the name on the paypal letter and have them call you when it comes in

so with that in mind, i wont have to worry about limitations, 21 day holds, etc... all that other bs?

Yea, Im going to have my wife call them ahead of time and tell them the bill is coming and to call us when it gets there. We'll wait a few days then call and confirm its there and go get it. I think thats the best way. They'll know its got to be ours if we know its coming.

what if ur real address is 109 John street, could u use 109a John street ?

Yes, im gonna make another ebay/paypal account and just make it a variation of my real address. Close enough that the mailman can figure out where to send it.

That should work 99% of the time unless your mail carrier is a real douche. The best way is to just ad a space. Like 109 Jo hn Street. To any computer or paypal "fraudbot" it looks like a totally different address, but to the mail carrier it just looks like a computer mistake.

Great info here! I will definately try that, just as long as paypal and ebay cant track it and link me, as my first ebay account with my real address has been suspended awhile back.
