Paypal 21 day hold?? Any way to overcome?

Recently paypal have decided to update their system ; this update prevents the refund/invoice method from being used.

Does anyone know how to overcome this problem?

In dire need of help so any advice would be much appreciated :pry:

The best way to overcome the 21 day hold is to sell and receive positive feedback and excellent DSR's and after 4-6 weeks you'll no longer get the holds.

Refunding and sending an invoice is surely a sure fire way to a fast limitation?

90 days from sale of first item and 21 day hold will be removed. Its clearly listed on the site....

ops.... Didn't notice UK at first might be different

Are you selling through eBay, or off eBay? Makes a difference when it comes to the 21 day hold.

I've tried all of it man ; ANY incoming transaction coming into paypal be it off ebay or through ebay has come under a 21 day hold.

I have multiple accounts and they all experience this

Hmm, may be something you can do depending on what triggered the hold. Only works for non eBay I believe.

Are you on PayPal Classic or the new one?

Classic. I've been doing this for a while now and this has only been an issue recently with paypal's new system update :l

Unless anyone else has had previous success with the refund/invoice method

PP has been instituting the 21 day hold on both eB and non-eB transactions for several years now.
