Default At what point should you supply documents?

Okay, another question here sorry >.<

Say I go through all the steps needed to create a non suspect PP.
The 'seemingly' last point in the verification process will leave my with a confirmed and verified acc with the receiving limit of £1900 in place per calendar year.

Now if I were to supply documents - Photo ID and Address - to lift the receiving limits, at what point should this be done?
As soon as you create the account and have the bank/phone number/vcc confirmed?
Or after you start to approach the £1650 limit/whenever they ask?

And what exactly is the best route to take to reach the goal of having a fully confirmed, verified, and limit removed PP?
Do you start off by registering a personal account which will then get upgraded to business? Or would you start off with a business account?

Which is the best way to do it?
I'm aware there is up to a month waiting time for them to review documents so I'm hoping I can get help on this as soon as possible, I would quite like to test a few of my theories lol

Thanks.

Thanks.
To get your account to pass the anti-money laundering regulations your account must be verified and confirmed in the first place.

Thread below explains the procedures.
http://www.aspkin.com/forums/subscri...paypal-uk.html

ID needs in association with the £1900 money laundering limits are subsquent requirements.

Soon as paypal is verifie/confirmed, you can apply for having the limits lifted.

Dont worry until it happens. But, at the same time be prepared IF they ask.

I guess it depends too how fast/much you sell. If you're approaching the limit and you only sell cheap items where you can still sell loads whilst they're looking at the documents (take over a week), then you may as well wait. However if you're selling expensive items at a decent rate, then you would have to stop selling for 1-2 weeks whilst they verify the documents.

If you have many accounts and are using others at the same time, you may as well just submit it at the start, however if you don't have many and need the money up until the limit, then keep selling.

I prefer to submit when and IF they ask.

In the UK it's different, they always ask because it's the law to get past the 1900 limit, unless i'm mistaken.

You are correct there.

Country flag of the poster means responses may differ.

Also paypal UK does like documents being sent in early. Been discussed on the forum several times before.

As Greenbean and xShevaa7x have correctly pointed out this is a UK stealth account and therefore docs will be required to lift the £1900 receiving limit.

I personally submit them before selling on the account.

The only downside with doing this is the review time can sometimes be quite slow (it currently is). If the account has already taken £1900 and is limited with a request for docs then the review is usually very quick.

I do have UK-based accounts but yes, my operations are low so nowhere near 1900 limit
