what happend when disputes closing after 21 days
 

Hello
I want to know what happen if dispute got closed after 21 days automatically ?

The buyer opened dispute against me , And it should end within few days , when reach to 21 days ...
But he did not escalate it to a claim .

So when the system auto close disputes , who gets the money him or me ?

Did you reply to the dispute or did you ignore it?

If you ignored it, then he will more than likely win.

If a buyer opens a case on paypal and does not escalate before the time, the dispute will close and the funds will be released.
As paypal will repeatedly email him to say he is running out of time to escalate it and if he does not it will close and cannot be opened again.

YOu HAVE to reply to all disputes if you want the slightest chance of winning.

So even if it closed without you saying anything, the buyer wins.

i don't understand you guys .
Does this thing is random ?
some of you say depends on if i replied to him , If not it helps him to win...
but what is paypal rules says ?
I know this system is automatic , unless i involves pay pal staff by escalating to claim , then this procedure is closed automatic by the system ....
So lets say i did not reply , What's happens next ?

Here is your answer:

1. If you replied to him and he never replied back, the case will be closed in your favor when it expires

2. If you DON'T reply, you WILL lose. Period.

I think some of you think there are rules. This is just not true. PayPal does whatever they want. Be di.igent with disputes and resolve them as soon and as fast as you can for the health of your account.

To be honest PayPal is on the buyers side for the most part when it comes to disputes.
