What's the safest amount to withdraw on a fresh paypal account
 

Hi guys

What's the safest amount to withdraw on a fresh paypal account? i don't want to get limited for withdrawing too much. Is there any "safe" amount to stay under the radar? :pry:

you can begin at 5-10% and after finished withdraw go higher and higher... thats slow but very safe. but when you maked a mistake earlier and paypal linked your account, so every withdraw will limited you.

There is no definite answer as it depends on many factors involving your account as well as the transactions you received. All else aside and only considering an amount , I personally wouldn't withdraw more than 25% at first if my account has more than $100 in it.

If you had $500 in there, and your EB fees were $75 and you have sold 20 items at $25 each, I would leave about $150 in there.

If you have a lot more than that, I would NOT proportionately withdraw more. It is really gonna depend on what you got in there.

If you have $2k in there, I think the most I would withdraw would be about $500 at the most for now. After a few months and payments from buyers start becoming instant, I think you would be safer to withdraw more and more. PP lifting that hold is a pretty strong sign that they trust you a little more.

Only safe amount to withdraw is what you can afford to lose.

Are you going to be using a verified and confirmed paypal?

On or off ebay transactions?

Agreed, for a brand new "fresh" account, you want to take things slow. Try to keep money in your account a little longer than usual, stagger withdraws and always leave some money in your account. Percentage wise I say in the beginning, don't withdraw more than 50% of your total (at least the first couple weeks), wait days between withdraws if possible and don't do anything larger than $500 until your account is better established.

$500 is approx £300.

That is facing a high chance of a soft limit right off the bat.

Agreed. You definitely need to take it slow because you dont want to force a large amount and let your account get limited.

@bubblebop - details of the amount in question are needed - how big of a sale? have you had only one sale?

I don't even look at my stealth accounts as operational and open for business until after that 90 day mark

Before hand I'm selling items that are no more than $10 , so it's rare I'll make a withdrawal on an account That is not 90 days old

The items I sell are just to get the account prepped and ready

And than after the 90 days I start to sell lightly and than pick it up once the holds are lifted and than just withdrawal in a normal manner

Keep enough for fees and a return and everything else I'll withdrawal

And sales will grow gradually after the 90 day point, and if the account is in full swing sometimes I'll make 3-4 withdrawals a day, as long as money is flowing in and you keep what is needed than withdrawals are not an issue

I have a thing where I like making withdrawals of $150 increments , I get nervous at $200, so sometimes I'll make up to 5 withdrawals a day at $150 each, I feel like at $200 you are looked at more

also make sure all your ebay items you sell you ad tracking numbers to. just login into paypal and add your tracking numbers that's what i do if i have 200 in my acc i withdraw about 60.00 and pay my ebay fees. just go slow.

Dmshark has a nice method. I however only do 1 withdrawal a day <200 and make sure to keep 3-4x the average sales amount that comes into that PP account (my own preference)

Withdraw less then $150 per day and max $500 per month. Talking from experience.
