Upgrading to Premier - how to do so when it's not an option
Forgive me if this is a repost, I searched through the forums and couldn't find anything along these lines.
Not wanting to run the risk of using business accounts, but wanting to use the paypal API, I prefer to set up my accounts as Premier
Recently one of my new paypal accounts wasn't given the option to upgrade to premier from the 'upgrade' link on the profile page. Not sure if this was related to the account specifically, or due to the new paypal interface...
Nonetheless, I found a solution:
1. Log out of the account
2. Go to https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/we...p-upgrade-link
You will see the list of features for premier / business accounts
3. Click 'Upgrade Now'
4. You will be asked to Login and then have the option to upgrade to Premier
Hope others find this useful. If that link ever dies just google 'Paypal Upgrade Your Account' and hopefully a similar link will pop. |
