Question about stealth ein/ssn

I just bought the ebay stealth guide and read it over. I was thinking of putting an LLC together so I can have an EIN and avoid dealing with the SSN issue. It seems inevitable that paypal asks for a ssn, just a matter of sooner or later. So, to get a long term stealth paypal account going, that was my first inclination; however, after reading over the forums for a bit, it seems most people recommend not going through all that and just doing personal stealth accounts. What do you do then when paypal makes the ssn request, or you start approaching the 200/20 limit? Just keep making new personal accounts, and losing all your ebay feedback etc? Starting from scratch over and over seems fairly inefficient. Plus, how many alterations/slight spelling changes can you realistically make to your name for bank account creation/deposits/withdrawls? Thanks in advance for any insight into this dilemma.

Re: Question about stealth ein/ssn

Yes, it would be difficult to start all new accounts every time paypal asks for SSN, but if you operate lots of stealths at once, then you can sprrad sales and avoid the 200/20,000 limit. Even if one gets hit with the limit, you'll still have many more to sell on.

Stealth accounts should have random names and addresses, you can make as many as needed.

And as far as Ebay? Just keep spamming new accounts along side the paypal ones? So you never really have any feedback or anything?

Here's the game of eB and PP in a nutshell.

You create as many accounts as you can, build them and "when", not "if" they tag you, you have back ups.

You don't always need to do alterations of the same name. To avoid this, you can make a business account or just use some random name.

But the address has to be real.

If you do things right, you can usually get away for years using the same accounts.
And when I said right, as in you deliver fast, items are as described, your customer service is great and you don't sell too much in too short of a time.

Why did you revive a 4yr old thread to say that?

Regardless, that was a really bad idea. In the next couple of weeks (maybe days, maybe hours) the new PP will be linked to your old PP and they will stop letting you receive payments. That's not a very good way to avoid paying taxes. You could have added an EIN to your paypal account and given yourself an opportunity to build up a strong business account. Instead you've doomed yourself to failure by adding a new PP to eBay once PP started asking you for tax info.
