Bank confirmation
 

Hi,so i have a US account set up by a 3rd party.I sell stuff and payments go to my setup Paypal account.I have linked my bank account and all that.I can only withdraw $500 a month currently.To withdraw more they want me to confirm my bank account.Will this link me?I didnt push it yet but it says-your personal details wont be made public(or something like that)figure its better to be safe than sorry.Thanks

No, confirming your bank account will not link you, as long as you have not used that ACCOUNT NUMBER before. The bank account always has to be in your real name. You can do the 3 day micro deposit confirm or the instant confirm. Both will work just fine. the instant confirm is by an outside 3rd party, not PP.

No, it won't link you to another account. You're okay to confirm your bank account.

OP, make sure that you verify it with a gift card or VCC as well if you haven't already.

Some people does one or the other and they start using the account for sales on eBay, which will can really shorten the life of the account.

I had to make a new paypal because of the phone verification thing when i didnt do it

Is there any order in the way you verify. Should I do vcc first then bank and phone or does it matter

I would do bank verify first. The VCC is to lift the withdrawal limit.
So I think the bank part is more important in the beginning stages.

Then last would be the phone

For me, the order is how you even make the accounts!

This is what I do for USA accounts:

I make paypal first. I add a phone number right away that I keep active for the life of the account.

I then add a bank account, and VCC to verify & confirm the paypal.

I rarely use VBAs. Only for special accounts ;).


My idea is to present to them an account that ticks all their boxes.

Later I add an ebay and all is ready.

If you read over the forum, there are more & more posts about 'phone issues'.

I am not having them by virtue of my phone always being active.

(and yes, paypal have called me).

I had problems with TracFones added after the account is created and verified by VBA. Paypal says phone is not registered in the account name.
