Encrypt Bank Account Number

Is there a way to "encrypt" your bank account number when you give it to paypal? For example, lets say your bank account number is 12345678. Is there a service that will give you a number, lets say 87654321, and allow you to re-route deposits through that number to your actual bank account? So you would give paypal the 87654321 number, but the deposits would still go to your actual 12345678 bank account.

I'm not even sure if something like this is legal, but i'm curious as to if there is some sort of company that offers a service like this.

I bought the stealth book a while back, and have pretty much been a ghost on the forum, trying to soak up as much knowledge as possible. You guys are the best!

No there's no services like so. It takes a lot of effort for one to join the banking system, and I doubt anyone would go through all the effort just to create a shady business that are going to be heavily used by criminals.

LOL what a joker! No, that is called money laundering which is a criminal offence, as you are trying to HIDE money from the authorities. You can some up with some childish talk such as using a bank account called "xyz" which goes to "abc" but you are trying to hide the monies from the authorities. What you need to understand is how the tax system works, and use it to YOUR advantage!

Funny, when I first joined, I was thinking the same exact thing, but not for nefarious purposes. I was more thinking of only needing one bank account to many stealths, so for acct 123456789 can also be called 987654321, ytbdjurvh, 4784fghyr, and etc etc up to infinity accounts all with just one bank acct. But I'm like thinking, you have to be able to intercept the communications between pp, and that sounds like a security risk all over the map. So, the answer is probably not, and if someone knows how to do this, they certainly are not going to share!

Sure. Make that many accounts and risk getting all closed by the bank.

You got some balls to try that.

Why is that?

Current USA banking regulations define how to operate opening bank accounts.

Care needs to be taken with any bank account opening/closing.

The goal wouldn't be to hide money from the authorities, obviously. It would be to be able to avoid having to open up so many different bank accounts. If you really wanted to hide your money, one "encryption" of your bank account number wouldn't do it. Especially if it was a legitimate company providing the service. I can see a legit reason to have this service, for example you want to pay bills online with your checking account, but are worried about the security of that company obtaining your actual checking account number.

Not sure it warrants your 'childish talk' label, it was a legitimate question.
