PayPal in Canada, still need a SIN#?
 

I'm under the impression that in order to open a PayPal account in Canada and lift the limits you DO NOT need to provide a SIN#.

Is this correct? Can anyone confirm.

If it is, then I'll assume the standard method of setting up a new eBay + PayPal account are viable?

100% correct. I opened two PayPal accounts this month in Canada. All they need is a credit card to open it and a bank account to confirm it.

i open 2,3 accounts every month, so far they don't ask you for your sin#, may be in future:mad:

What about the bank account issue...?How would you get a canadian bank account?

I have also opened several accounts in the last few months and this is not needed. I also am going to random banks and having family members open accounts to attatch to them. So far no problems here.

I heard that the us bank account can be used for verifying Canadian paypal account,has anyone tried?
