Withdrawal Limitation on New PayPal account
 

Hi,

It seems like for a PayPal account, you can withdraw only $500/month unless you provide them your SSN

Does it mean my monthly sale can not exceed $500?

Can I transfer the money in Paypal account to a friend? Or It will raise a flag to Paypal?

It is not a good idea to transfer money from your PP to your friends PP. It will link the accounts and can be dangerous

Will the limit eventually lifted or it is permanent?

You can lift the $500 withdraw limit by completing any of the two items:

-Confirm SSN
-Verify Credit Card
-Very Bank Accoutn

You do not necessarily need to confirm your SSN.

Check exactly what paypal want to allow you to increase your monthly limits.

Look for all options. They exist.

Avoid transfers between friend's accounts. Creates links & may make troubles.

If so, Can I use my sister 's Paypal account (non-stealth account) for Etsy?

Since Etsy and Paypal are 2 different companies, the information do not have to match. Am I right?

this is where you should try to think true stealth.

No need to involve your sister. Tax issues for a start might come into play.

What are your plans going to be?

Are you making stealth ebay & etsy accounts?

Risky meaning if you have a paypal problem, then it effects both selling platforms. Other than that it is not risky at all.

I have setup stealth EBAY and ETSy account (not stealth Paypal yet_ still have to get a tracphone)

I plan to use the same Paypal for both Ebay and Etsy ( info matches between 3 accounts)

I guess it would be safer to do that than using my sister good Paypal
account

I am just gonna sell cheap items ($10-$20 each) so my money coming to Paypal prob abound 500- 800 max per month

I would build up to $500/800 over the course of 2/3 months.

Bare in mind you may be required to provide EIN by PP if you hit a certain limits.
