To Give UP or Not to Give Up? That is my Question.- Need Advice
 

I called my mother and asked her if I can open an ebay account under her name. She had no problem with this so I opened it August 10, 2014. I used one of her old addresses where she lived 10 years ago just to get started. For the past 3 weeks I tried adding 2 banks to no avail (BlueBird and Capitol One). Both banks account under my information. I finally contacted PayPal via email and they told me that mostly the banks are already been used by another account (not true… these are brand new accounts). So I truly believe is the non-matching address. Should I give up on the account because it has been flag and I already tried too many times? I have not provided a SS nor a DOB to the account yet because I never got to that point yet. Should I open another one under her name and try another bank and another address where she lived 5 years ago? Should I stay with this account and try a third bank. Has this account already flag by PayPal? Thanks…

Please do not make any more accounts UNTIL you grasp what to do.

Do not contact paypal on ANYTHING at this point. Use the forum for better help.

This is not quite the better way to make stealth accounts.

Why are you using old addresses from years ago?

I used an old address because she is not residing in the United States. She is currently in Signapore and I thought they can find US address easier.

Too messy for long term working of your stealth account.

I'm using a cell phone about to drop out ( battery failing).

Few questions:

your name is blacklisted now?

Can you get another usuable address?

One for the road, avoid making new bank accounts until we sort a better plan, SS.

My name and address is blacklisted. I can get another address and put it under her name if that is the best route. So I am not clear yet about what to do yet. What is a better option, although not always guarantee but one that will mostly work better. Just be aware that it will be a legit Ebay under my mother's name since she gave me her "blessings".

1. Should I try adding another bank that may work to this account? It will be a third bank and I am afraid it is already tag.
2. Should I change the address to bluebird bank/card?
3. Should I just give this one up and try opening another one under her name and use another bank like Bank of America, which I am planning to open.
4. None of the above? Others?

So Let me give you an update:

I decided to post my first item and of course I got the MC999 code. I contacted ebay and asked for an explanation why I couldn't post any items to sell. The rep explained that I was not verified. I asked him what my options would be and he said he can asked me few questions and if you get them right he will give me an increase. Of course the account doesn't have a bank account yet. So I passed the questions and he gave me 100 increase. Today, I tried the 3rd bank (Ally) on paypal and I keep getting an error message that says Sorry, we are not able to process your request. Please try again later. I have been verified with Ebay so what should I do?

So I when I click to add the bank hoping for miracle and after so many of these I get this message:


another message I get is:

What should I do. Ebay says I can sell and I am having problems connecting a bank after my 3rd attempt. I am running out of bank accounts.

Any suggestions?

For technical errors, the most you can do is to contact Paypal about it.

Like what everyone in this thread has been suggesting, read the stealth guide and the forum over and over again. Then do what MM78 suggested and start fresh.

i use an old account for my bank,you can try a new account if you think this one are still in trouble

People always try to walk a tightrope and mix old or real info with new...Pretend you have no past!!! Make and use everything new....no relatives name or addresses you lived at when you were in the 6th grade.........Get the stealth guide and learn NEW! Follow it, with lots of reading here in these forums and you will do fine.....
