am I lucky? :D
 

Hi everyone, found this site when my paypal account was limited for good.
I created a stealth account (both paypal and ebay), started buying a few things, literally 5 items from ebay before I started selling. Sold my first item (a children's watch) went to paypal to get my buyers account and no holds. Now the watch sold for £1.99 (hardly a high value item) so sent the item out and received feedback and then someone brought another item from me (a camcorder, total was £20.00), went to paypal to get my buyers address and bam no hold on the payment. Another 2 buyers today buys items, goes to get the addresses on paypal to ship out tomorrow and oh look no holds again.
Now knowing that paypal are like I quickly brought items with the money (Christmas is coming so we're selling to buy). I'm not even going to attempt to withdraw money yet, I'm not that brave :) So what do people reckon, am I lucky or maybe a glitch in the system, bare in mind both accounts are extremely new.

Also I want to be one step ahead of paypal for the day they limit this stealth account (I have no trust in this company whatsoever, I know they will do it one day), for those of you who have a stealth account have you thought about what you're going to do if they limit your account and ask for information? stealth account - ⊗⊗⊗⊗ information.

Not totally unheard of but fairly uncommon to have no holds from the off. Bare in mind holds can still be put on the payments at any time.

If they ask for information you will need to provide PP with what they have asked for.

lucky you but i heard pp not holding payments that are less £50 please some one correct me if am wrong.

dummy me my payment 132 in hold and will be cleared on 12th

Not true.

Im selling items for £2.50 and I'm still getting holds on them

Any PayPal payment of any value can be held.
