What are peoples thoughts on Apple Pay from what they've seen/read

Could it be a rival to paypal?

Paypal seem to be threatened by Apple Pay they took out a full page add in the papers having a dig at apple

What are your thoughts

Before the circlejerk gets too deep again, remember that Apple Pay's main targeted niche is to replace your wallet in retail stores. Instead of carrying many cards around, you can select which card you have on file and tap your phone instead.

Support for online purchases is extremely limited, and it appears that only larger organizations can use it to accept money. The main goal of the app is to provide a more convenient and secure way for user to pay, not to receive.

If Apple Pay would accept/add Paypal to the payment options, that becomes a game changer.

I am sure they may craft a deal, its all about business.

I couldn't see eBay allowing apple to become an accepted payment option, unless they were going to give a nice down payment and a big chunk of the business to eBay, than maybe , but it would need to be a huge percentage of the business

If not , eBay would have to expect, many sellers to jump ship and than it would only be a matter of time before Apple rules the World, owing Beats and eBay

I would like to have an alternative to PayPal, but I think that we will need to wait for that. At least, there is a hope.

Links is not something i would be concerning about, as all you can add on your Apple Pay account are credit cards anyways.
