PAYPAL withdraw: atuo-verification call

It is a stealth account which I bought from one forum member.

My first time to withdraw the funds, but got the message to verify my account with an auto-call.

Emailed and Messaged the account's seller, haven't heard from him yet.

Just wondering how to receive the call? Search and Read the topics in this forum, haven't got a clue.

Can I download Google voice or Yahoo voice to receive the call?

Many thanks

Re: PAYPAL withdraw: atuo-verification call

You will need the number that registered with paypal to receive call.
Wait for few days to log back in. Phone verification goes away sometimes

Re: PAYPAL withdraw: atuo-verification call

If u can get access to the number used in account registration u have the best shot in getting around this

Also if you withdrew too much as soon as the funds became available that could be the reason, try a lessor amount and maybe from a different browser

Re: PAYPAL withdraw: atuo-verification call

Well, I have the contact number.
The problem is that how can I receive the call from PAYPAL? By yahoo voice ,google voice or something else?

Re: PAYPAL withdraw: atuo-verification call

You need access to the phone number that was used when the account was made, adding a number now, in rare instances will work,

but they are looking to see that

either u have access to the original phone or if u add a line it will match public data records of the name and address that is the contact on your paypal account

Re: PAYPAL withdraw: atuo-verification call

so how to solve it?

I bought the account from one forum member here, so that means it is a random account for me.

It is a stealth account. Means buying a stealth account is not working?

Re: PAYPAL withdraw: atuo-verification call

Another queston, Paypal accepts mobile phone number which works (I am pretty sure) but why the account seller use landline which needs to be match the address?

Re: PAYPAL withdraw: atuo-verification call

The problem is that you already operated in a way that tripped up security, so now they want a number to verify that the person using the account is really the person that is registered on the account

So by adding a number now, is too late, the alarm already went off, so you need to know the original password, and can't just put any password to shut it off now and that's my analogy of what is happening here

So it seems that the number that was used to make the account you do not have access to, so your best chance is to try and get in touch with the account owner and see if they still have access to the number.

With new accounts, or if u purchase an account and do not get the number with the account, you will want to add a number right away, and than wait a few weeks before even thinking of a withdrawal

Re: PAYPAL withdraw: atuo-verification call

You need to Contact the Seller!!!! Asking the forum how to get the phone call is going to be pointless unless you speak to the seller and ask THEM how to achieve this......

Do not know if I got this sentence right but the same thing that happened to the OP happened to one of my accounts.

As soon as I attached the bank account for withdraw, PP sent me the SMS for verification. I had my phone by my side but I just want to point out that it is now a normal security procedure.

My account is an .IT one and was with no flags/alarms at all.

How about also telling the forum what country is involved?

We do not have enough info yet.

Your country is important to know AFTER also talking to your seller.

First question really would have to be why are you using an account without having a working phone number attached to it??

I have no idea who you bought this account from but the advice given to ALL users of stealth accounts is to have working numbers attached to the accounts.

You don't need to contact the seller. Add a working phone number to the account and then complete the withdrawal.

Landline numbers are only required for limitations. A mobile phone number will work fine. Assuming you are in the UK and the purchased account is from the UK this should not be any problem. Of course if you aren't actually in the UK then this process will be significantly harder to complete.

Re: PAYPAL withdraw: atuo-verification call

On US Accounts once you made the mistake and tripped up paypals security, it's hard to back track and try to cover up your mistakes , adding a new number after the fact is hit or miss, usually miss, this is on US accounts though

A working number should of been added at least a month before the first withdrawal, and they may of made the withdrawal from another computer or there phone and not the normal login device for that account , or just withdrew to much to fast on a new account, which are all the true issues here

Re: PAYPAL withdraw: atuo-verification call

Well, I bought the account without any notice about this.

I guess why PAYPAL asked for phone call verfication due to delete the old bank account (to lift limits) and add a new bank account (mine) within months. This caused PAYPAL attention.

Nothing to do with that.

If you think it is okay to operate stealth accounts without having working phone numbers attached then you are asking for trouble.

Anyway, contact the seller and have a go at them as clearly this is not your fault.

Re: PAYPAL withdraw: atuo-verification call

Well, who had this experience before? I am going to add the mobile number into the PAYPAL account, not sure what will happen ? Hope then I have an option to receive a call by mobile phone.

No replies from the account seller for 2 days and I guess he just ignored my emails and messages. I bought 5 accounts from him and I am worried about the next 4 accounts.

Help please?

Some sellers are currently on vacation. Is this something else you have perhaps overlooked?

Re: PAYPAL withdraw: atuo-verification call

I just added the mobile phone number which was verified by PAYPAL. Then go back to withdraws page, the tiny difference: without adding a mobile phone number, only auto-call available. Now text available too. But another dropdown both to be landline by receiving a text or call.

Contacting the seller is the only way I need to figure out.

Cry
