Next-day funding for bank transfers will be available by October 1st
 

Got this email from PayPal today:

Hello Robert,

To help accelerate cash flow for your business and give you better control of your money, we’re enabling next-day funding for transfers from your PayPal account to your third-party bank account – and you’re among the first to get it as part of our pilot program. This means funds transferred from your PayPal account by 5:00 p.m. local time will be available in your third-party bank account the next business day, instead of in 3 to 5 days. Funds transferred after 5:00 p.m. will be available the subsequent business day. This change will be implemented by October 1, 2014.

We’re always working hard to make it easier for you to get paid and hope this change provides enhanced cash flow benefits for your business.

I have actually noticed this for the past month but now it seems official. Pretty cool!!!

Depends on the bank processing too - don't just assume it's all PP's decision

Someone's also posted this yesterday, I hope that paypal sticks thru with this, it's actually a great change for US accounts

If this is true, I absolutely love this.
I made a transfer at 4pm today and it showed 'completed' at 7:30pm

Ill post if it hits the bank tomorrow.

Usually the day it shows completed the next day it's in the Bank, the problem is PayPal hates giving people there own money

its about time this was introduced in the us.

Its been happening in the uk for a while now and is so much easier than waiting 5 days for funds to appear. My online banking used to never update until days later too. So you could never be totally sure if it had hit your account unless using a cash machine!

I always hold my breath with PP - they make one good change and counterbalance with a few ugly changes

Just to give a little more to this thread, transferred some money yesterday and showed up today (a day later) amount was 450, last time before this it took like 5 days. AND this is a pre-paid card. Now this would b great if they keep it up :-)

Got another 1 day transfer on one of my ste/alths, input it last night and this morning the money is in there. It's weird because my old, real account with great history is still taking 2 days (still not bad but no change there.)

This is awesome, I had no idea about this and I transferred money yesterday, usually its about 3 days to hit my bank but after reading this I checked and sure enough its already in there.

Just checked another ste/alth and the transfer initiated last evening is there too! This is great news indeed. Hope they keep it up!

surprised US are so far behind... UK have money in the bank instantly, though sometimes it can take a full 72 hours if Paypal decides to play up...

Is this still going on early for people? I just did two transfers at 3Pm and 5PM and they both are still showing pending.

Yes some accounts were chosen to take part in this trial phase and yes some are able to transfer in a day now , while other accounts need to,wait

Same account transferred next day earlier this week but not the one from yesterday. Makes sense for PP.

That explains it then. Even my own real account basically has instant transfers within an hour and now its still pending a day later.

Did they revert this? Thought maybe it was just because the weekend, but even today, withdrawals are pending rather than showing completed in just a couple hours.

Aw man hope this really goes into effect on the 1st when I make my first withdraw on my stealth account.
