adding bank to paypal
 

Hi,

When it comes to adding your bank account to paypal. Do you just add the account number and sort code and click link? i just want to add my bank account to transfer the money ONLY.

After that can I transfer all the money to my account or is there a verification process.

In a nutshell yes that is it.

You will need to also input the verification code sent to you by PayPal

To stop PayPal trying to take money from your account add a VCC and remove the bank account as a approved payment method.

I already have a VCC added to the account, so all I do is remove my bank account from my paypal once adding it?

No, the bank account needs to remain on the PayPal, you need to remove the bank account as a pre-approved sourcing method for things like eBay fees to make sure they do not try to draw on the bank account if your PP funds do not cover the EB fees

Oh I see. My stealth account has a different name to what's on my bank account, won't paypal think this is suspicious?

You input the bank account as IF it is registered to the stealth name....PP can't see the true name.

PayPal will not know so long as they do not try to draw funds from the bank account

Ok so the logical next step is.. Will the bank see your name does not match, How do you find out what banks all ow this

Yes your bank will see that the name will not match. Most banks do not mind.

Search the forum to see if the bank has any known issues.
