Default Paypal + Prepaid card or other instant access to funds?

Hi

Ok, so looking to spend money instantly straight out of my paypal account.

Hate having to transfer to bank account, sometimes takes 2 hours, sometimes 72 hours and hate having to routinely withdraw funds, so I end up leaving my balance of hundreds of pounds accumulating within the account.

Is there a way to spend this money straight out of the paypal account, i.e. a prepaid card perhaps thats linked to the paypal account that when you purchase online or at shops, it just deducts money from paypal account?

Or maybe I can setup automatic funding from paypal to the prepaid card if possible?

Its become a chore to move funds between paypal and bank account, and then you find something you like on ebay and then you press buy and then it comes back out your bank account and your bank statement has so many transactions that you cant be bothered to see if their all authorised by you.

Any ideas?

Entropay - setup an account - create a VCC - add funds to the VCC and use this a funding source

You mean add the entropay funding bank account as your paypal bank account?

Dont you have to provide a reference number so your withdrawals route to your specific entropay card?

Thanks - Also great fast response!

No, you're missing the point.

1. Setup an Entropay account online (REAL details - no need for stealth)
2. Add your own debit card and upload funds to Entropay (However much you want to spend on eBay)
3. Click 'Create a Card' and add those funds to that card
4. Add the VCC details to the PayPal account you want to make a purchase with.
5. Buy the item and choose to pay with Credit Card and enter those VCC details or choose PayPal and make sure you choose the VCC you made in the previous steps as the funding source.

Good luck

Sorry let me elaborate,

What I want to do is use my Paypal balance, specifically paypal balance.

I want to use the balance in shops and online (i know some places accept paypal, others dont).

I was hoping I could get a prepaid card that can be topped up using paypal balance.

Or maybe any other way doing it?

I want to have instant access to paypal funds basically, and eliminate having to wait for funds to go to bank account before I can use them.

There used to be a PayPal prepaid debit card that was linked to your PayPal balance. You had to be invited to use this service. I am unsure if they are still inviting people to use this service.

Sounds like there is a reason you don't want to withdraw to a bank account?
It's as good as instant transfers now, longest 24 hours on most accounts and in extreme cases 72.....that isn't long

Heard about the debit card, paypal are still inviting but again, its invite only.

Also yes, trying to avoid bank completely, because I have so many transactions such as £1.49 Paypal *..., etc. on my bank statement each month.

Also when I do have balance in the paypal account, I dont want to have to login and withdraw, if there was an auto option to do that it would help.

So im guessing no luck then?

It does take it bit of work on your part you know....

Logging in and withdrawing takes all of 30 seconds.

I withdraw from my PayPal accounts once or twice a week. Do not have to withdraw each small transaction. You can let the funds build up. No reason to withdraw £1.49

LOL i meant £1.49 on purchasing things like iphone case etc.

When I withdraw I usually withdraw more.

Also logging in is 30 seconds, but with it being a stealth account, I need to be home, need to have right IP etc., in total takes 5 minutes, but just cant be bothered to be honest.

But I guess there is no Paypal debit card alternative, which is basically what I was after. Would have streamlined a lot for me.

Not really the right attitude to be honest.

Not really - could also look at cashing out with CCNow but CCNow charges 5% cut...steep...

Think you got the wrong end of the stick...

All I was saying is 5 minutes each time I want to withdraw money is just a hassle for me. My personal stance and opinion on this matter. Yours may well vary.

What is CCnow, a quick google search seems to show some shopping cart, would it mean buyers using something other than paypal to pay for their items?

Its the same for everyone else.

That is just part of stealth.

Stealth takes time and takes work.

Your a 100% right. Also to note, where its possible to save time, your should seize the opportunity to do so. This is merely what this thread was about. The outcome seems to be, there isnt a way. Thats fine, atleast I know the route im taking is fastest. Id rather seek help, find out the route I take is the only way rather than for years I take the long route only to find out one day there was a faster way to get from A to B.

Hope you get the gist of what im saying.

Don't need google search - there are posts on this forum about the service.

You can use PP to pay for invoices with CCNow...

Applied for a Payoneer mastercard. Question is would it fund from my paypal account or would I have to do it manually. Read their website but no mention of fees in relation to transactions, just talks about ATM fees and maintenance fees. Any ideas?

Payoneer and PayPal are no longer in business, also you will need to know how to add it to a UK account as it has a USA account number and routing number

Thanks for that heads up, they should have updated their website with that information.

Any idea how I can add USA account to a UK account? Possible?

It hasn't been possible for a while now, as PayPal removed that option on UK accounts.
But yes, PayPal has blocked Payoneer and passed the ball to Payoneer... they say it's Payoneer disallowing it even though all evidence point right back to PayPal.

And it's not what you were looking for anyway; you have to withdraw the balance through the routing/account number just like any other bank account. It's not directly attached to your PayPal balance like PayPal's official card is.

Thanks for that...

Another reason why this would have been a good option is because my bank account linked to paypal is a savings account. So I then need to transfer funds between my savings account and current account before I can start spending.

Bloody bugger, anyway thanks again.

If any ideas come up, do let me know.
