Paypal security challenge !? Now captcha everytime i log in !!!
 

paypal now requires me to put in a 'security challenge craptcha every time I login.

this is very annoying and just started happening within the last 24 hours.

I used my phone with a different account and got into paypal like I normally do.

anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

really annoying.

I have not had this issue. i had just logged into 12 diff PP yesterday throughout the day.

Does it do he security challenge when it doesn't recognize the computer?

Have you changed a bunch of info, like addy, phone #, cc, bank, etc?

I have had this in UK in past 2 weeks, very annoying!

It may have to do with the login link you are using.

Try hitting the paypal logo and login from there and see.

Happened to me two days ago (Paypal UK), first time ever, so im guessing something new their introducing as its never happened before. In my case nothing has changed, cookies all stored etc.

Sounds like someone is trolling your computer and planning on taking over your accounts. this happened to me, ever time i logged in they ask me to verify account by question or phone,. After a while i could not log into the account no longer sucked a lot. I would change the primary email and run tracking software.

it has gone away now. I was thinking a security cookie was the culprit.

it was a captcha that would pop up every time I would login weird...

Yes, I am having the same problem and I log in several times a day as I am running a business using Paypal.
Trying to enter a captcha and talk to a customer at the same time is a real PAIN.
I might have to stop using Paypal if this continues.

Most times it's because there are problem with your cookies.
Are you cleaning them after each login?
PayPal can't find stored cookies and thinks it's just a bot, that's why always ask for captcha.
Of course it may be also your browser issues.

Yes, most times it's because the problem with your cookies. But also your IP address may be in blacklist. Especially if you use mobile network for youe intenet connection. You can check your IP for blacklist on whoer.net.

Its been happening in the UK for the past two days, It is a known system issue and according to paypal it is being dealt with, I withdraw after 10pm on this account so time you withdraw may play a part,

I have spoken to several paypal agents regarding this as it is becoming a pain to the point that one of them decided to alter something in one of my paypal accounts and now I cannot withdraw at all as it just keeps going over the same thing,

Log in, try to withdraw, need to verify as comp diff, verify ok, logged out, log in with captcha and the same again,

Will hear back tomorrow some point as to how long its should carry on and update of course.

PayPal been glitchy the last 2 days. It will go away by itself.

What do you mean f5 button solves the problem? Where do u push f5? when it asks for captcha?
