Paypal phone verification when adding bank account
 

So I recently opened a new bank account and created a new paypal account for it today. When I try to add a bank account to the account I get this error.


Verify your account

We don't recognize the device you're using. To continue linking your bank account, please verify your account.

Anyway around it?

This is happening to me whole trying to add a new bank account. Went and got a track phone and still can't add the bank account. When trying to verify keep getting the "this phone doesn't match the name on the account" message. The phone is registered in the stealth pp account name so I don't know how to fix this.

I see this all the time and I just verify the account by entering the phone number that I used when I made the account.

I still have the same exact issue with ALL of my PayPals.

They only send codes to phones from major companies like att, Verizon, T-Mobile, sprint, etc..

The phone bill has to match the name on PayPal. Registering your Tracfone under that name does not help.

Honestly, I called PayPal 3 times about this and they were able to reboot my PayPal account from their end and I had to reset my cookies and everything worked fine. Try calling.

I got this same exact security thing today.

I tried to add a pnc bank account to paypal.
And got the "security check" (verify your account)

I need to add text or phone number.
What what happen when I try to input the original phone number (that was used to build the pp account???)
