Does PayPal will ask for SNN if I don't leave in US?
 

Hello everybody,

For the last 6 months I started to have many Ebay and PayPal accounts.

Does PayPal will ask for tax information if I don't leave in US?

So I wonder, they will ask for it from someone who lives in Israel?

If it is on the US PayPal platform then yes they potentially could do.

If the Ebay /Paypal were made in the USA, then Paypal can ask for either SSN or EIN if you reach the 200/$20K mark...or sooner.

So you made a US PayPal with an Israeli IP address? Not the best start.

Your not going to be able to put 100k in a year though PayPal no matter which countries PayPal it is without them wanting some sort of documentiation from you.

May I ask why is not good? All my account are actually working great and my highest limit is 5k\Ebay.

PayPal will act to protect themselves.

Just becuase you have a 5k limit on eBay does not mean that PayPal will be happy for you to have 5k a month going though them. They will require more infomation from you.

It's the law, in the United States if you have a business you need to report your revenue to the IRS

And if you have a paypal and eBay account in the US that is a business and once your on pace to reach 200 items and $20K you will need to provide paypal with a tax ID

And starting any account with an IP other than the country of the account usually is not good because eventually they will get restricted

Whatever country u make the account you also need that countries IP, your methods will catch up

Oh you guys didn't understand me right.

I live in Israel o_O I don't leave in US, so if I live outside of US PayPal will check me harder? or you just misunderstood me? haha

If you registered for a Paypal account that's not in your country, your account will automatically have a tons of red flags setup upon day one. You won't get far at all.

Yes I know that, I registered for a paypal that same as my country.
I live in Israel and I made a paypal with my REAL ip in Israel.

Your not being very clear here.

You have made a US PayPal or you have made an Israel PayPal?

Either way you WILL get asked for more infomation if your sales get large enough, the type of infomation asked will vary from country to country, but it will get asked for.

I made Israeli PayPal since I live in Israel, I just used ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and VCC, that's it haha

US law will not apply to a Israeli PayPal... Israeli law will apply to an Israeli PayPal

Again PayPal will likely require infomation from you well before you made 20k within a year on a new PayPal. They can request infomation from you after £1 or may wait until £1,500.

When you say information, do you mean tax information or SNN and all the other stuff?

If so, then how people can last stealth accounts for so long, I reach that amount easy so I have to switch Stealth per month?

So far I have accounts that's running great, I have them for pretty long time but wonder if PayPal will ask for the information as you said.

Paypal will follow the tax regulation for Israel, and may ask whatever the Israeli government mandates. They will not ask you for SSN but they can ask you for other documents your country provides for tax and anti-money laundering purposes.

So there is no chance to have around 2,000$ on each stealth without hearing from PayPal if I do everything right with 0 cases? Or it's possible but not high rates?

PayPal will always want to know what your selling and will want to know about you evenually to make sure they protect themselves.

They will follow Israeli tax laws. I assume Israel does not have an SSN, so they would not be asking for that. They will ask for what is relevent in your country.

PayPal needs to be built up slowly, and that takes months and years.

So if I want to avoid to 180 days limits with PayPal, after I receive each account 1k EURO just quit it? I'm sorry but I'm a little bit confused right now :o

You just need to take your time building the account up.

Most info they will ask for will be suppliers info ect. You can still submit that on a stealth account.

A well opperate stealth account can handle very large sums of money

Again, $1k is likely to bring attention to a brand new PayPal.

It needs to be slowly built up. 1k is not slow for a first month.
