How To Get A PayPal Debit Card
 

I'd like to get a PayPal debit card for my stealth account that I changed to a business account by providing a EIN.

I had sold too many items this year (157) so I got the dreaded request from PayPal for more personal info so they could file a 1099 on me.

My question is, will PayPal require an SS number for a debit card even if the card request is through my company name, using my EIN and a legitimate PO address for my company that I do have access to (for when the card comes in the mail).

I don't want to risk rocking the boat and trying this if any of you may have experience with this topic that might answer my question. TIA !!

SSN is needed for this.

Yep, need to provide a SS# for the debit card. I don't know why, if you have a business account with an EIN, that they just cannot provide it in your business's name.

Understandable in a way.

Many people get only one SSN.

Anyone can get multiple EINs

I believe it has something to do with VISA/MASTERCARD side of things, not so much paypal.

Easier to have a moan about paypal for those whose relationship is never too good.

I have never personally had a bad relationship with paypal, but I have had indirect issues and to be honest, it seems to have to do with Credit Score and Items sold along with bad attitudes towards paypal, lol
