add bank account have to verify phone number
 

i have creat two paypal account today, however, when i tried to add the bank account to my new created paypal account, it shows that i need to confirm my phone number first

this has never happened before, i cant even add a bank to verify my new paypal

has any one got same problem and how to deal with it?

What country paypal is involved?

Your flag is UK. I notice in other threads you speak of VPN & USA accounts.

We need the right country for the right advice, please.

I'm talking about the US paypal, it shows have to verify the phone number to add the bank account when I creat the new paypal account

i have the same problem, not just new pp account,
when i try to add a bank to my 3 months old account, it ask to verify the phone number too. happened on all 3 different old account.

That is has been happening for some time for US accounts.

may i ask you how to get around it? because no matter what phone number i add, it always say that the number does not appear to be under my name or something like that....

Can you give me some more info. Need to know a bit about how the account was made etc.

Did this account have a phone already?

Are you in the USA or accessing from overseas?

Lastly, what phones have you tried?

I tried tracphone and virgin mobile both didn't work. Would like to know which phone provider works as well. Thanks!

I also got this problem. And I have tried three different phone number. Waiting for the solutions

YEP! Tracfrone is no longer viable for PP, they say "This type of number is not allowed."

Mint Mobile or Freedompop may still be ok.

Or just open a 2nd phone line..
