Name and SSN for bank and credit cards
 

Hello, I am an ebay Silver Power Seller who just got my account banned after 11 complaints about shipping times.

If I am understanding correctly, I can open a fresh bank account in my real name and SSN, and link that to PayPal because all they can see is the account number. Is that correct?

Is that the same for credit cards? Do they see the name and SSN, or just the account number? Can I put my real name on a new credit card?

I was trying to become a Gold Power Seller this year.

I was doing $2000 to $3000 gross revenue every WEEK and I don't have a "real job", so I need new accounts ASAP.

I am over $100,000 per year in gross revenue, so they look at my accounts with a microscope.

I need legit new bank and CC accounts because I sell expensive items that cost $100 to $300 and I am WAY over $20k per year.

So I need a legitimate but unlinkable new powerseller account. To keep my SSN out of it, I have registered a new corporation. I have moved to a different house, got a new phone, created a new computer user, reset my IP, and installed a different browser.

Real platic cards cannot be used on a stealth account. They will fail the AVS

Banks do not share info with PayPal or EB, but some banks do not like mismatching name deposits.

It will take time to build up an account that can sell $100 to $300

Okay, I got signed up for an EntroPay VCC account. Any problems with being a power seller with an EntroPay VCC?

Entropay is good. The VCC will pass the AVS check. You won't really need the VCC after you add and confirm it in Paypal, unless you want to use it to pay your seller fees.

More importantly getting a (new) account at a bank that works with stealth.

As JamesNorth101 said, it will be a very long time before you can start to sell in that volume again, so consider creating a few more stealths. You will still need to take things slowly but you'd essentially be able to sell more quicker since you'd have multiple accounts each with their individual limits instead of just one.

11 complaints for shipping should never have happened.

Power Sellers are expected to do a lot better than that.

As you start over again, make sure you fully address the shipping issues.

Or you will be losing accounts.

A member of my family died of cancer in September and I spent the last four months traveling to visit and be nurse while he was dying.

Watching someone you love die slowly and not being able to do anything about it really messes with your head.

When I was gone all week, I was trying to do all my shipping on the weekends and people who paid for fast shipping at the beginning of the week got upset.

Understandable. Unfortunately ebay or customers don't care about sellers personal issues when they are operating a business. They expect you to hire someone if needed and operate as a safe and secure business, not as an individual.
