Paypal refund onlyf rom bank?
 

So I had 0 balance and get 500 bucks from a buyer, but the man has no patience and opens a dispute and now that I try to refund it will only let me refund from bank. Is this normal?

If there are not enough funds in PayPal then yes

I have never paid attention since I don't sell much and never have to refund, but that's stupid. I have to pay out of my own pocket and then paypal will let go of the funds. Paypal should let you refund from the same funds.

So you do have the balance in PayPal, it is just being held.

If the funds being held are for the sale of the item that you sold then you will be able to issue a refund using those funds. Just click the refund button

Yeah the funds were available once he paid and 1 day later he opens a dispute so the funds are now held for review and the only options I have is to refund, I clicked refund and the only available funds for refund are from bank account, it doesn't give me the option to refund from paypal balance because the balance is 0, but the funds he paid are now held over the dispute.

I thought paypal lets you refund from held money from the same dispute. WRONG!

It's just 1 case. Thanks anyways you guys ask too many questions. All I wanted to know was if I could refund from the held funds of the same payment. I guess not.

They ask " too many" questions, so they can help you in the best way possible..I would prefer a barrage of questions if it meant i was getting it right :-)
