Problem with bank account
 

Is anyone else having problems adding a bank account to a new pp? I have an account that is probably 3 weeks old and so far have added 3 bank accounts that have been disabled saying their is a problem with the account. Two were from a prepaid card and one was a real bank account. Anyone else have any issue with this lately?

I know they usually deny prepaid cards, but idk why they denied your real bank account. Did you use the bank account on another paypal?

No, it is a brand new account, never used before. I am wondering if they could see my name since I am banned for life from using them.

What problems? Have you used your bank account to,pay for postage or fees or,anything and not had the funds in the account at the time?

With prepaid cards especially, if any purchase was made using bank account and there was not enough funds they would pull the account off, but a call in and they can add it back

I added one bank account when I first opened the pp account. They sent deposits, I confirmed them and then my bank account was disabled because they could not withdraw the small deposits. I added a second bank account, again same thing. Lastly, a few days ago I added my real bank account and today I received an email that my bank didn't recognize my account and refused the deposit but that is not true. PP added and withdrew the deposits. Something is definitely amiss. If they could see my name from the withdrawal that may be what happened.

If you use real your info with real bank account, simple call them

Your bank personal details such as name and address are not disclosed to PayPal..

Which bank was it though?

Which prepaid card (with attached bank account) was this?

Just a note, these accounts don't like mismatch names for deposits.

Both prepaid cards allow mismatched names but can't be used for withdrawal so I assumed the reason for disabling the accounts was because they could not withdraw the small deposits. As for the bank it is PNC. I should also add I have an odd name. Thanks to my parents I am the only one in the world with this name so there would be no mistake if pp could see my name and know that I have been blacklisted.

I actually went into the branch for another reason and was told there was nothing wrong with my account.

I recently had problems with both US bank Convenient & Chase liquid prepaid cards... deposits went through ok, but they failed days later when Paypal could not debit back the deposits.
