Transferring funds from paypal to paypal
 

Hope you guys can answer this quick question i have. i have two Paypal accounts that are LEGIT and not stealth ones. One of them is premier account that i use to receive funds from my eBay sales. I want to transfer the funds to my girlfriends Paypal account as gift which in reality it is(Not once, will be many transactions). Would it raise any flags if i send to many gift payments to her? We both have different address on the Paypal accounts. It can't be linked right?

Yes it will flag both accounts and be a risk to both accounts.

A transfer makes a LINK.

Bad to have a link. Avoid doing this.

Legit makes no difference to paypal.

What if i send as good / service? would that be a better way to transfer funds?

Is the paypal verified with a bank account?

Any transactions should look 'good/safe' in the eyes of paypal.

Could you tell me a bit more of the age etc of both accounts, please?


For my accounts I do everything.

Bank transfers

Buy items both on/off ebay.

Send invoices for goods/services.

I nutured all the accounts to be able to do that.

My main account est 2008 is all verified & confirmed. Its mostly to receive payments for eBay. Everything is legit, have over probably I'm guessing 3-400 transactions from eBay. 500+ feedback.

2nd account fairly new which is an week old.
Confirmed account
Bank verified
Phone verified
Debit card linked + (pending for code to life withdrawal limit)
* i Will be doing the same thing like you said, send invoices, buy items & sell small items to get rid of 21 hold for eBay also just to get that out the way.

Different names, different address. Just wondering if any thing would happen to the account even thought nothing illegal is happening. And surely do not want it to get linked for any reason.

imo, the 2nd account is going to be the weak part.

Transfers like you asked are flagged even when everything is 'normal'.

Good idea to have different activity.

@thaisayz, looks good in terms of set up of 2nd account - I hope you are NOT planning to sell exact same things? Need to vary listings...avoid linkage...

No the 2nd account will have other random stuff and will not be the same. Just trying to get on the good side of Paypal for that account. Just did a money request to my from for $2.00 and it got held for 21 days which i knew was going to happen. Do you know how many transaction i have to get pass these hold in the future? (Non Ebay purchases) but gifts don't get holds am i correct?

Holds can occur on both ebay and OFF-ebay transactions - there is a "general" policy but holds can be reinstated as well

If the paypal is being used with an eBay account than its just risky, I had the domino effect happen before transferring funds, a few go thru but eventually all accounts go down

But if you have an established paypal account and are sending money, it could work, I have paypal accounts that I send funds to the same people a few times a week for the last couple years and no issues

But again the paypal is aged and not linked to eBay

Just withdraw funds to bank OP - keep it simple
