How to know your 21days holds will be removed (soon)
 

Hey.

I have something to share that may or may not have been said before. On all the stealth accounts (3) that have ever have gotten 21day holds removed the exact same thing I've noticed on every account.

*note this is just a observation thats becoming a pattern and has not happened to every account but the ones it does happen to... **

I sell a particular item that has a lot of non payers/slow payers if you will. Whenever I have a account (ebay/paypal) around the 60 day mark and have a non paid case opened for a buyer to pay. Say they pay it in the next 24 hours or so after I open the case.
Heres where it gets interesting... what I've noticed is my funds get released when you hit (check estimated availability of funds) for whatever reason. Its happened on all accounts then say anywhere from 1-3 weeks 21day hold gets removed.

Its strange though because I technically haven't even shipped the item and the funds "will be in your account shortly" and they as of now are released. I know it sounds like a glitch but that glitch always happens around the time of my 21day holds "permanently" getting removed. Like I said I'm not claiming anything its just a observation that has strangely happened on all accounts that have seen the removal of 21day holds for (me).

Keep in my mind all my other transactions have the hold which is 10 days after being shipped since they are not delivered yet. Its just that one that gets removed..its like taking your first baby steps to getting the 21 day hold removed.

So you've got no PayPal holds on these accounts?

On Ebay under your sold listings its under your tracking number. Its just a speculation. I'm waiting to see if this account gets the limit removed soon. Just curious if anyone has noticed it. There is a lot to know about accounts when you operate enough to know there are certain "pointers" on how each account is going in the eyes of paypal/ebay

The last account I noticed it happening twice and the last time it happened all transactions after the 21 day hold was removed. Could just be a weird glitch...But if my account I'm monitoring now gets the 21 day hold removed within 2 weeks something might be to this.

Keep in mind this account is aged around 50 days. Not too long.

Every brand new account (99.99%) have a 21 Day Hold, this hold usually gets lifted when the account is 90 days old (starting from 1st sale) and it reaches $250 in sales.

I actually don't mind the 21 day hold. It keeps you from withdrawing too much money that could potentially limit your account.

Ship fast and so things right and the money will release after a few days!

@aking: Same here. After the tracking shows delivered, your funds will be available in about 3 days, which I think is a good way to teach self control on new accounts since you can't immediately withdraw. Even now on accounts whose 21 day holds have long gone, I go with the 3 day rule before withdrawing any money and I haven't had any issues.

Yea for the record it was just a glitch ...I still have the limits.

Nonetheless its kinda amazing all the glitches Ebay/Paypal have but thats the reality we all face.
