paying with pp on ebay
 

i have a buyer only ebay and pp account, i just linked the bank and a debit card on the PP, and i was trying to buy something on ebay, (the item is $500) but i keep getting this message when i check out,

"Please go to paypal to confirm your credit card before you complete this purchase"

my debit is already confirm, and its a real card, not a VCC.
any idea why and how to get around this??

Just to be clear, the DEBIT CARD you are using is THE SAME DEBIT CARD that you originally verified? You didn't use a VCC or a gift card to confirm the account originally and then add the REAL card?

Because if it was the same card all along and you already verified it, then it would seem like a glitch in PayPal's system and calling them may be the best/only way to solve the problem.

yes it is the same card that i originally verified. just one card on file.

yes the card is active, i can still use it on other website or in store.
and no, its a new account
