Transfer to Bank Account (Withdrawal) pending for 3 days now.
 

I initiated a Withdrawal to my bank account (Suntrust) through PayPal on a stealth account on Oct 22, 2014 at 21:03:17 PDT. I had done another withdrawal about 8 hours earlier. I received the earlier transfer but this one is still 'Pending' 3 days later.

Any ideas as to why?

Normally the bank transfer takes about 2 to 3 days.

From PayPal to bank takes 2-3 days
If you regularly transfer from PayPal to Bank then the time is reduced
For example it takes me upto 6 hours mostly now to receive the money

The reason it takes 2-3 days is because they do checks

Can take anywhere from 1 to 5 days in fact. Just sit tight and wait

My concern is usually after 24-25 hours after the withdrawal request, it updates from 'Pending' to 'Complete' and then normally the next day I receive the withdrawal. As I said, the one I had done earlier that day did exactly that whereas this one did nothing now for three days.

They need time to check your transaction, it's normal

The money does not go directly from paypay to your bank...a banker explained it to me 3 years ago.....I can't remember the term he used....but because of how they are classified, Paypal can't transfer money directly to the bank. They have to have a third party do it for them......so when you transfer $$ to a bank, it goes from paypal to clearinghouse, then to bank...
