Stealth account address update?
 

I'm not sure if this is going to be a problem so I'm looking for answers from senior members.

Before I opened a stealth PP account I googled my Zip code to find a random guy's name & address. Then I used the info to verify an account using VBA and VCC. The verification process went well but later I'm wondering if the 'real' name & address could cause future problem.

My questions are:

- Should I update the address?
- If yes do I need to buy another VCC? - I tried but PP needs me to remove the current VCC
- Is my acct going to be suspended because I update address too soon?

The stealth guide is a must which covers this topic. You should not be using a real name or address. How do you know that the ""real person"" doesnt already have an ebay account at that address or been suspended.
A rentable mailbox should be obtained.
Im sure a long term member will come along.soon and advise and hopefully correct me if im wrong as im new myself but im learning fast with these forums and the stealth guide. :-)

How will you manage returns....because i doubt you can knock on this persons door and ask for your parcel which will be in his name hee hee. Ideally you need an accessable address. I learnt that myself quick enough :-)

Thank you guys for your good advices. I wish I read the guide before opening the acct :(

wasted small $$ but it was a good learn, I think I will need to open another one.

You should never use real.information.
Worth hanging.around to.see.what a longer term member suggests.
Part of me.says keep it and work.around the return process and see.what happens. But perhaps in the meantime, make another account correctly and use that as a backup should your current one go down. Just my thought :-).
Read the stealth guide and use the forums where everything is.covered. Take.your timebis my advice :-)

Dont draw any unnecessary attention to yourself. Sell at snails pace in the beginning :-)
